Double-Layer Micro-Perforated Panel Silencer
The microperforated panel silencer leverages the sound-absorbing principle of micro-perforated plates, typically featuring single- or double-layer microperforated plate structures. Its internal cavity design ensures an absorption bandwidth exceeding 1/3 octave, with a flat frequency response. It achieves low-frequency noise reduction levels of 12–25 dB and mid-to-high-frequency attenuation of 20–25 dB (at a length of 2000 mm and air velocities ranging from 10 to 15 m/s). Depending on specific acoustic requirements, multiple sections can be connected in series. For optimal performance, the air velocity is recommended to remain below 15 m/s. This silencer is ideally suited for ventilation ducts that demand moisture resistance, high-temperature tolerance, and cleanliness.
